Shenzhen launched its first humanoid robot pilot production line on April 12, 2026, in Longhua District, operated by Leju Robotics and Dongfang Precision. The line assembles units in two hours, producing 500–1,000 robots per year, with mass production scaling to a 10,000-unit annual capacity at a Foshan facility.
