Mitsubishi Motors × Highlanders humanoid MOU
Mitsubishi Motors signs an MOU with University of Tokyo startup Highlanders to co-develop and mass-produce humanoid robots for welding, logistics, and engine assembly at its Kyoto plant, targeting ~1,000 units/month with production starting as early as 2027 to address Japan's labor shortage.
