Claude text watermarking + content credentials
Anthropic will add invisible SynthID-Text-based watermarking to future Claude models at launch, plus C2PA content credentials on generated images and files, with a detection API to follow. Models released before August 2, 2026 will receive the update over the coming months, in compliance with the EU AI Act after Anthropic signed the EU transparency Code of Practice in July.
