Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime Instances provides EC2-backed persistent compute for AgentCore agents, enabling long-running sessions of up to 14 days compared to the 8-hour serverless microVM limit. It supports GPU-accelerated, memory-optimized, and compute-optimized instance families through capacity providers, with no changes to the deploy or invoke path, and is generally available in 9 regions as of August 6, 2026.
