Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's next-generation video model, announced June 23 at the Volcano Engine 2026 conference and officially released July 31, 2026. It supports native 30-second one-shot generation with multi-round extensions, flexible referencing of up to 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio clips in a single pass, plus improved character and product consistency; it rolls out on Jimeng AI and Doubao Pro in China, with API access via BytePlus ModelArk in pre-release and no official global rate card yet.
