GDPval
GDPval is an OpenAI economic-value benchmark released in September 2025 (arXiv:2510.04374), covering 44 occupations across 9 industries with 1,320 expert-built tasks. As of July 2026, Claude Opus 4.8 leads the GDPval-AA leaderboard with an Elo of 1890, ahead of GPT-5.5 at 1769, and the benchmark was again highlighted at the GPT-5.6 launch on July 9, 2026.
